Your data will be handled confidentially and will not be disclosed or sold to third parties unless you have given your consent or unless we are legally obliged to disclose this data in order to comply with an applicable law or legal claim.

In order to optimally communicate with our members, you agree that all visible profile content, which is posted, can be used by the provider on all content-related and very thematically similar portals in the context of the suggestion list and for contact purposes. You may revoke this consent at any time. If you wish to revoke your consent, please contact us using the contact options indicated in point 10.

5. Cross-border data transfer

The transfer of data as defined above may involve cross-border data transfer to other jurisdictions. In these cases, we use standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other appropriate safeguards to allow data to be transferred from the EEA to other countries. Standard contractual clauses are binding obligations to protect the privacy and security of our members' data between companies that are transferring personal data.

If you wish, you may request the deletion of your personal data in accordance with Article 17 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO). In this case your personal data will be deleted within a period of one month after the legality of the request has been established.

The account will not be deleted if we are required to retain it in order to prove our compliance with applicable laws, if there is an open question, a complaint or a dispute. In this case, we are required to retain information until the problem is resolved. We may also retain information when it is used for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention and to enhance user safety.
